Short Essay Q

If you have under 300 words for an essay, would it be better to use two topics with less detail or one topic with more detail...

I'm leaning towards using one, unless there are two relavent topics that are very closely related.

In almost all cases, one topic would be better. With such a short essay, it would be hard to write about more than one topic. Everything needs to be connected, and your essay should have a nice flow. Btw, what are the topics you're thinking about using?
