Take a deep breath and relax. AAMC 3 is the least indicative of all the AAMC exams. After content review I scored 27 on AAMC 3 (8,10,9). After 1 month of practicing and reviewing my scores I was easily able to break into the 30s by the time I reached AAMC 7 and on the real deal.
Ya I also went from I think 28 or 29 on AAMC 3 (after content review) to a 35 on AAMC 4 a month later. You should gain several points just getting used to the cbt format, the timing, endurance, style of questions, etc. Just stick with it, you should improve.
