Hey guys,

So far Im on one waiting list and do not have anymore
interviews lined up at this point? I am waiting on about
13 school? I know interview season is not over yet...but
do you think they are towards the end of scheduling them?
Anyone in the past get interview after this point? and get
in? My app. was complete mid october. Some of the schools
I am waiting on are GW, BU, Tufts, Finch, Univ VT, Temple,
St. Louis, Wake Forest???
My stats: 10V, 10B, 8P...3.53 gpa...everything else great.
Any advice? Comments?
Do you still think I have a chance?

Hey, i'm waiting on GW, Tufts and Wake too....the thing about Wake is that you need to call....i called and they told me i was in the second interview pool and needed to write a letter to get my application considered again...they seemed willing to offer me an interview if i showed sincere interest..you should try doing the same....i forgot who they said to address the letter to.

im in pretty much same boat, dont worry about it, if it happens for us it hapens, if not well give it another go right! plus it IS still early good gosh, its not even jan yet! you are so fine

It is definitely possible to get interview invites in Jan and Feb. However, considering when your files were complete and the number of interviews you have had so far I'd say things are looking iffy. Certainly do not lose hope as you may still get in this year. But I'd also advise you to have a backup plan going. Make sure you have some idea of how you would improve your app if you don't get in this year. And as far as a previous poster saying it is still early, I disagree. I'd say we're now in the early/mid 3rd quarter of the ballgame.

Most people I knew who only had one interview invite by Jan ultimately did not get in and are reapplying this year. (There was one who eventually got in but for the most part having only one interview invite by Jan is a bad sign[at least from what I saw last year])

I'm not trying to rip on you as I hope you do get in this year. (I mean hey...still got the rest of the 3rd and the whole 4th quarter to go, right?) However, I think you should realize that the way things are going you should have a plan B and that you may have to reapply next year.

Oh yeah...have you tried calling those schools to check on your status? Maybe some of them will let you know what decisions have been made on your file and you will have a better idea of where you stand.

sorry i just reread your post, you said mid october......i was complete around 10/30-11/2.........so i'm thinking its just a matter of time, atleast that's what temple told me, they said after the holidays they woudl be sending out interview notices........

ahhh dont listen to em, i still say your fine, all it takes is one interview and you already have one waitlist.. really that is all it takes. But eh, **** happens and life will go on, just think how much easier things will be next year and ull know to get ur stuff in really early, as will I since i know i wont be doing aug mcat this time, so something good will come of this year either way! keep ur head up and just enjoy life man! well get in eventually no worries
