I've recently completed a postbacc with ~60 units at a ~3.98. I've done some calculations, and taking a 3-unit class at a CC can bring my cGPA up from a 3.18 to 3.2.
My sGPA is at 3.3 after UG + PB.
The actual 0.02 GPA difference is obviously trivial, but would the optics of 3.2 vs. 3.1x (if there even is one) be worth taking an 8 week class like Intro to Nutrition or Intro to Legal Studies?
I don't have an MCAT score; I'll be taking it in Feb or March. My GPA trends are <3.0 for 4 years of undergrad, then a 3.98 for PB @ 60 units. MY EC's are ~450 hours of clinical and ~250 hours of nonclinical.
Would appreciate your help @gonnif , since you've dealt with academically problematic nontrads before.
