Should I consider retaking my classes?

I am a Sacramento State University Student graduating Spring 2011 with a BA in Biochemistry. I am currently studying for the MCAT and will take it pretty soon. I took a few kaplan mcat pre-tests and scored in the range of 36-41 🙂.

I have a 3.65 overall GPA and my I think my science GPA needs a little work.

Calc 1: B 4
Calc 2: A 4
Physic 1: A 4
Physics 2:A 4
Bio : A 5
Bio: A- 5
inorganic Chem 1: B+ 5
Inorganic Chem 2: A 5
O-Chem 1: B+ 3
O-chem 2: B+ 3
Ochem lab: A 3

I am wondering if I should bump up my GPA by going to a JC school or should i spend another semester at Sac state. I would really prefer going to a JC because it would really drain out my bank account if I keep going to sacramento state university.

No need. Calculate how much it would take for 3.7 sGPA, and if it's not much, consider taking recommended courses like genetics, human anatomy, physiology, etc.

i did not add all of my science courses: my degree audit shows that I also have a B in quantitative analysis. so i have a sGPA of 3.61 out of 44 units. I am currently taking microbiology which is 4 units.

Take Biochem, too. Of course, any B you get in upper-level science sets back your GPA repair, so don't go there.
