Hello all,
I am currently a freshman and in my second semester in college. Last semester I got off to a great start with a 4.0 GPA after taking 17 credit hours. This semester, I am making A-'s and above in all of my classes except Calc I. After making a very high A in Pre-Calculus last semester, I figured that I would be very component in Calculus, but it has not been the case. I made a D+ on the first Calc exam, a C on the second Calc exam, and I am currently sitting at a high B- overall right now in the class. I am fearful, however, because I have one exam (15% of total grade) and the final (25% of total grade) that both take place after the Drop with a W deadline. So should I drop this Calc I class and not risk getting a C or lower, or continue with it and hope that I can somehow maintain the grade that I currently have, even though I have not done well on the previous exams?
