just got an interview from slu, and im trying to decide whether to go..i generally like to keep all my options open, but it seems like slu is not as good as other schools im into (buffalo, tulane, drexel)..any ideas? also..do you know if theyre interviewing for waitlist spots at this pt? any ideas in general about all these schools.....im waiting to hear from downstate too..and im waitlisted at vanderbilt..i just dont know how im going to decide on a school, so any thoughts on these schools would be greatly appreciated..

Don't poo poo on a school just because you got into another. If you didn't get into another school besides Slu, Buff, Tul, and Drex, would you go to Slu? If not, then withdraw the interview.

if you wanna go by the US news rankings SLU is ranked higher than all the schools you've gotten into....but in the end its up to you....how much is the plane ticket?

That is the beauty of having an acceptance in your hand, being able to turn down an interview. If you don't want to live in St Louis I wouldn't waste your or their time.

I would rather live in St. Louis than in Philly, the crappiest city on earth.

And seriously, Temple and Drexel vs. SLU?

You have to be kidding me? You DO know why Temple is building a WHOLE new med school right? Accredidation problems much?

And since Drexel is upping their class size to 255 next year, and the class can't even all fit in the lecture hall now, have fun paying $40K a year to attend med school via internet.
