Medical Should I keep doing research or focus on clinical experience and shadowing?

I completed a research program the summer between my freshman and sophomore year that gave me 360 hours in research experience over the course of a summer. Is this enough for medical school if I focus on clinical experience and volunteering during this coming summer (summer between sophomore and junior year) and semester (junior year)? I really did not enjoy research and would rather spend my time working with people volunteering and getting clinical experience.

Your clinical experiences and shadowing will definitely be needed for your application. If you don't enjoy research, that's good to know for now, but I hope you enjoy the clinical exposure.
