Hey Everyone, I’m a senior in my final semester right now finishing up a bunch of upper level science electives. I’m taking 16 credits right now of which 10 credits are science and Im currently at the B/C+ range for one class. if I take a B in this class, my gpa will drop to a 3.88 but if opt in for PF for just this one class, my gpa will actually go up to a. 3.92 (since I have A’s in the other 13 credits) and keep me eligible to graduate with summa cum laude instead of magna.

i also interviewed at one MD school a few weeks ago and am waiting for their decision. in case I have to apply again, I feel that it may be better to have that 3.92 instead of a 3.88. I also applied this Past cycle with a 3.95 so I feel like a 3.88 would be a bit of a yellow flag.

what do you guys think is the best way to go?
Honestly, I don't think that drop is that critical, but if it's a non-sci elective, go for P/F. If it's a science class, work harder.
