So before deciding on dentistry, I pretty much shadowed every single medical profession there is. I worked in a pharmacy, I shadowed a podiatrist/doctor/PA/nurse/Occupational Therapist/PT/Optometrist for at least a day if I knew it wasn't for me to over 6 months for the ones I was debating on (medical, pharmacy, and dentistry). Is this something I should include in my application or should I only include dentistry? How would I put it in because it only has the option for dental shadowing?

I had like 100 hours of surgery but since the category was specifically dental shadowing, I decided not to include that.

I personally wouldn't put it under experiences but I'd somehow work it into my personal statement.

I put it on mine along with dental shadowing experiences. Some people asked about it during the interview. I don't think it matters, to be honest.

I included it in my personal statement to show how i got to dentistry and why i picked it over emergency medicine

You can talk about it in the personal statement if you want, but I wouldn't list it anywhere on the application itself.

nope, only dental stuff because you are applying to dental school

I put it in my personal statement and listed the reasons I chose dentistry over it. I included it to show I put legitimate effort into choosing my career.

I did not list it on my shadowing hours, but I did list my hospital volunteer time under the volunteer section.

I worked as a CNA for about a year. I put it under experiences and talked about it in my PS, due to the patient care experience I gained. I did not put any shadowing of other health professions (medical doctor, PA, etc) though. Only dental shadowing.

wouldn't the girl you plan to marry wanna know why you chose her over any other girl you've dated in the past?
You can try to put your hypothesis to a test. The girl in question wants to hear only why you chose her and not why you didn't opt for Peggy Sue or Cruela.

Each girl is different and I guess it would depend on their curiosity. But there's nothing wrong with saying how great dental is over med in some aspects you can say that to a girl. How things are much better than your past.

You speaking from experience or is it off-the-cuff?
