Should I retake labs or just lecture?

I am returning to undergrad to finish my dental pre-reqs this spring after a 2 year break from school (personal reasons). I took Chem and O-Chem a few years ago and got B+ grades out of the labs, but C's and one D out of the lecture part. I want to retake the lectures again and get higher grades, not only to boost my gpa, but also to brush up for the DAT I'll be taking next year. Should I just re-take the lecture portion or do I need to take both the lecture and lab again? At my University, you are able to register for lecture and labs separately. Hopefully I made sense...

Just take the lectures if possible. It would be so awesome to only have to take lectures...chem labs are brutal.
