Hello,

I took my mcat recently and got a 501 (126/124/124/127) I am apply next year and I was thinking about retaking. However, I found out that AAMC is making exams NON-covid style next year. I normally perform better on covid style vs. non-covid style so now I’m unsure if I should retake. I want to go DO, and I have lots of extra curricular activities. My GPA is kind of low cGPA 3.6, sGPA 3.3. I just really don't want my MCAT score to drop and if I was going to take it next year, I would probably only have a month to study. I'm unsure if I should use this time before applying to improve my curriculars or retake. Thank you so much for your advice.
Retake would be good. You should be aiming for 505+ to have a good shot.

BTW, what’s the difference between COVID and non?
