I received a C- in freshman year in a writing composition class (due to lack of interest I had in the class, and my refusal to take the professor seriously.)

I took the second part of the writing class and received an A-.

Now I want to know, would it be wise for me to retake this class or just leave it.

I will be starting my Junior Year in this coming fall and I still have a few more sciences to take, Physics (I & II), Biochemistry along with Genetics.

Should I wait until next summer to decide what classes to retake, or should I just go ahead and get that one C I have in my whole transcript, replaced?

Thanks for your advice in advance!

Not fully necessary but I would retake. Most schools don't usually let you take the 2nd part of a 2 semester sequence, with less then a C in the first part.

I assume it shouldn't be too much for you now that you've already taken the course once, you know what to expect. You should be able to take the appropriate science courses along side the class.

What school by the way?
