Medical Should I send this application update?

I am an applicant this cycle and have had one interview thus far (no other II's yet). I received word this morning that a paper I am second author on was accepted for publication. I mentioned in my primary that it had been submitted. The school where I interviewed does not accept updates, but is there value in sending an update about the publication to the schools from which I have not received II's?

It won't hurt, and it's worth the update.
