General Should I sent letter of intent for post bacc?

Hello,

I am applying to UCSF pre-health post bacc program and it's my first choice. I applied early in the cycle, and those who have also got invited to interviews already. I'm wondering if I should send a letter of intent describing how the program is my first choice, give them an update on whats been going on since I've last submitted my application, and end the letter reiterating that its my first choice. Thanks! I've written the letter already and it's 460 words
