So I've gotten four interviews (three in December, one coming up 2/2) and haven't heard anything about my status yet. Is now the time to break open the books again for the April MCAT? If I do not get accepted this year, it's most certainly because of my low MCAT score (mid-20's) and re-taking it would be a necessity. But I really, really, really don't want to hit the books again if I don't have to (I am working at least 50-60 hours a week these days - in a very high stress job). How much longer should I wait?

Look at the worst case scenario: you don't study, don't get accecpted, can't take the April MCAT with any chance of proving significantly, have to start studying for AUG, etc..

Best case: Study now, if get accecpted it can't hurt you, if you don't get in at least your ready to kick butt in April :luck:

I'd say it depends on when your interviews were in December. You want to give admissions at least 6 weeks to get back to you--assuming your schools are rolling, of course. Good luck and hang in there! :luck:

My 'views were December 13, 15, and 17th. I'm hoping to hear something soon...I was thinking if I don't hear by the second week in February, that will be the time to hit the books. Ya think?

It's what I would do. 😀

I agree with the above.

Prepare for the worst and hope for the best!

(I think you should start studying for the MCAT soon, just in case, so can take the MCAT in April if you don't get in this cycle)

Good luck :luck:
