I'm a psychology major with a 3.5 Gpa and still have a year left. I'll probably get a C in physics 2 this semester, lowering my GPA. I have a year left of classes (mostly psych classes and biochem) and will be taking the MCAT sometime in the spring.

I'm going to take a gap year after I graduate most likely working as a medical scribe while working on my application towards med school. I have over 200 hours volunteering for Crisis Text Line, and am involved in two undergraduate research labs. One is studying language, learning, and memory and the other is on suicide prevention. I'm also hoping to get some shadowing experience at the end of the summer. I'm going to end up with a biology and chemistry minor thanks to the prerequisites.

I also have a chance to get a physics minor if I take one more class in biomedical physics, which I think sounds interesting, but I'm not super good at physics. Is it worth sacrificing my GPA to have that extra minor or would that be the wrong choice?

I want to be a psychiatrist and am hoping I can get my GPA up enough to be truly considered for med school. (And hopefully the MCAT goes well!)

Ok, I decided not to take the class. I don't have enough confidence that I'll get an A. Thanks for the help!
