significance of interview order???

I got my first interview notice, and it's for the last interview date (out of five). Any ideas on the significance of being last?

Saving the best for last?
My last name is alphabetically last?
Saving the dregs for last?

Just random assignment?

Probably more "random" than anything else. I wouldn't worry about it. Just go to the damn interview and give 'em hell!

sometimes it matters....i remember i had a choice on interview dates for msu and i picked the one that fell right before one of their adcom meetings. got my decision right away. so that was nice.

but for the most part...i dont think it will end up mattering too much. they will all prolly put you in the same group to review so i wouldnt worry too much about it.
