Signing up for mcat

im not sure if this is already covered elsewhere, but i seem to have not found it.

what exactly is the procedure for applying to take the mcat, and how far in advance do we have to do so?

for example, I would like to take the mcat this aug (2006) so when / how do i sign up.

Haha.. I thought it's a prereq to verbal? The website is so unfriendly to users- you really have to read carefully to find the link you want!
