Hi!

The University medical system where I teach is trying to hire more graduating psychiatry residents.

Are there sites where graduating psychiatry residents look for jobs? Looking for the best place to post.

Thanks!

graduating residents are most likely not going to be looking for academic jobs on a website unless it is something specific or particularly attractive. They know jobs are rarely advertised and you are supposed to contact the chair or vice chair of clinical affairs if looking for clinician-educator jobs. Your best best is to convince your own residents and fellows to stay on. The main sites are indeed.com, linkedin, jobs.psychiatry, and herc (the latter is only for university jobs). You could also try the local APA district branch site if there are more residency programs in your area/state. the psychiatrictimes, JAMA and NEJM also list jobs for the more academically inclined. Psychiatry News also lists jobs but they appear to very slow with listing things.
