has anyone had anything from SIU? Acceptance or rejection. I got waitlisted, and I don't know how posible it is to get off the waiting list😡 .

How did you like the school, are you going to be attending there? I just got back from SIU yesterday, and I was very impressed with the school, the only thing I didn't like was the location, but the cost of living is cheaper compared to other schools.

I was impressed as well! I, personally, like the location. I like the fact that it is in such a small town. I have decided that I will be attended SIU. I still have yet to hear from UIC or Marquette, but after visiting the school and speaking with the students, I pretty much made up my mind. Are you still on the alternate list? Did you interview with a committee member?

I talked with a committe member, and he pretty much told me that I have a good shot of being accepted. He was very nice, and he told me that he's the acting dean of the school, hope that helps and when I took the tour, I pretty much decided that that's were I would like to spend the next four years. I have my fingers crossed, I hope I get in.

hey guys, what kind of stats did u guys have to get into siu? how hard is siu to get into, also, what tips would u get for a future chicago resident applying next year to get into siu? what kind of stats?, etc.

Could you guys comment on the clinical facilities there in Alton, and also I was wondering if the school has a PBL system like the med school?
