Sleep deprivation and the MMSE...

So after working 36 hours straight I was observing a fellow med student give a MMSE to an 82 year old man with signs of dementia... I ONLY GOT ONE OUT OF THREE ITEMS ON THREE MINUTE RECALL!!! the old man got all three!! has this happened to any one else? staying up all night turns your brain to cheese...
