sleep medicine

does anyone have any information about this fellowship. is it hard to get? whats the lifestyle like?

sleep medicine is a cool fellowship/field..u can do alot with it....
since there aren't many programs available across the country...it's gonna be competitive...right now you can get sleep medicine right out IM, FM, Neuro, and Pulm/CC....however in the near future...u'll have to be certified in neuro or pulm/cc to do sleep medicine.....the lifestyle is great as well as the pay....

That's the website for American Academy of Sleep Medicine - ACGME only started accrediting sleep programs in 2005 according to the webpage....I have not seen specific programs that allow you to do sleep right after IM-If you guys know of any programs please let me know...Thanks!
