what does the hospital do, with the slides that are made from a tissue, after the reports have been made by the pathologist?

throw them away?

file them in a cabinet and keep them?

rebuild the organ?????!!!!

Keep them and the block too, for a long time.

The tissue is placed in formalin and kept for about 6 weeks.

This probably varies some from place to place.
