Hello SDN,

I am going into FM and I have had an interest in palliative medicine. I saw someone posted that they were only getting salary offers of 180k, which to me is quite low considering I have to pay 300k back in loans. I was wondering how palliative physicians pay the loans back, and if there are any ways to increase reimbursement to 300-400k as a "specialist" to help pay the loans off faster.

Thank you.

Most palliative programs are salary based- not rvu based, so those numbers are not realistic for this field
