Just wondering if someone could enlighten me as to how to interpret the ACGME Accredited Program Search. Specifically the ACGME filled positions portion which lists the number of residents in each year. When they list years 1, 2, 3 and 4, are they referring to PGY 2-5 aka RadOnc years 1-4 in the program? And if so, and both the data from the website is up to date and my math is correct, medical students applying for the upcoming match in 2012 would replace the outgoing class now labeled as 'year 3 filled positions' (graduating in 2013, the same year the graduating medical school class of 2012 would enter PGY2 aka RO1). Confirmation would be great as it would let me know what programs have open spots, provided there is an expected course of maturation within the programs. Thanks!
