slow down

I have been franticly checking my e-mail and snail mail also checking sdn it appears that I don't see much movement with new interviews and decisions has the holiday slow down already started? if so when will it pick up or is this just time for finals????

I'm pretty sure it's slowing down for the last days of 2007, although I did hear back from a school last week.
