hey i'm trying to make travel arrangements and I am wondering what time the day gets over. My interview is at 9 am and the itinerary looks likes things are only scheduled until 1 pm. Are we free to go after this if there is no afternoon interview scheduled? Do you only have an interview with a faculty member? Thanks!

The answer to both questions is yes. However, I would not cut your travel arrangements too closely.... I think I may have heard of a couple of people with 2 interviewers, but only because one of them was an interviewer trainee (?). If your interview is at 9, expect to sit around for a couple of hours afterwards. Then a student will take you on a tour that ends with a luncheon. You might ask if you can sit in some classes when you arrive at the admissions office. It's a pretty low key morning.
