Sorry to hear that JBL but at least you are in somewhere now. I was on their waitlist and just got rejected last wk. Who gets rejected from the waitlist?????Talk about bad luck. Im still waiting for my state school to come through. Im praying.

Hey JBJ. Sorry it didn't work out with SLU. If I recall correctly, you did not want to relocate your family. I just want to let you know that it can be done. Friends of mine were from North Carolina. She went to UNC-Chapel Hill for med school, while he moved out to California for work. Those holidays & long weekends just become more meaningful when you are so far apart. Just remember: it's 4 years of sacrifice but you are reaching your goals. Good luck at Creighton. 🙂

Thanks Jet. It is consolation to know that you would choose Creighton over SLU.

Indeed my wife and I are very happy in STL, but I am not shedding too many tears over my SLU rejection. I am grateful that I have an acceptance at a school I liked as much as Creighton. The biggest thing is that my wife has a job that she absolutely loves.

I hope that you get the waitlist nod. You sound like you would be a great colleague.

I really hope Creighton takes me off their waitlist. I've sent them updates and transcripts. Hopefully they'll recipricate the love. Creighton was one of the few schools i've visited were I can really see myself being happy for the next 4 years....
