SMP or traditional masters

I'm I don't know what to do. I have a 3.0 science GPA and 3.1-3.2 overall gpa, major is BIO, should I aim for a traditional masters and then try to get into med school, or should I try to get into SMP, it seems like some SMP's will let you take the GRE to get in and later down the road you can take the MCAT, like BU or Drexel Smp, any advice guys?
