All you guys with secondaries and interviews are FREAKING me out 😱 I'll be set to submit my AMCAS early next week, if I'm lucky. I had a traumatic summer. Is this too late or what? I feel so behind.

Don't worry. We are all scared who don't have as good of scores as these guys. I am pretty sure all the people who already know if they have interviews have above 36's and above 3.8's....CORRECT ME IF I AM WRONG please...anyone...OR, it's just because they have an interview at their state school. SO I wouldn't worry too much. Get the secondary questions from the places you are applying to and do those while you wait.

I wouldn't be too worried. I started to freak out too with all the talk of secondaries and such (I JUST received some) but because of the amcas problem I think you should still be ok. Not great, but ok. I also think most of the people interviewing are early decision people.

Out of the thirty or so people I know personally who are applying this year, only two of us (including me!) have managed to get their applications submitted. So you are not alone! Just take the time you need to make your application shine...though at this point, I wonder if any schools will EVER see the primary essays I worked soooo hard on...!?

Traditionally about half of all applicants submit in August, so you're not that late. This forum is just full of people who are johnny-on-the-spot. Just knowing about and using the information here will give you an edge. Take advantage of all the alternate pathways for applying as soon as you get your application submitted. Be sure to check Drako's website: http://www.geocities.com/lvnh6791/paperamcas2002.htm
for the schools taking paper copies of AMCAS and those with on-line secondaries. You can even start working on the secondaries that aren't on-line as many of the questions have been posted. Good luck. Sorry to hear about your traumatic summer.
