Position Wanted So Few R Physician Only Spots Radiology

Hey all, it seems there are only two programs that will have R Physician Only spots this year for radiology. In the past, there are usually 30 or so spots for physician-only applicants. Anyone know why potentially?

It's pretty early in the app cycle. One of those spots only exists because the program is expanding their class size.

I am looking for an R1 spot and came to the same initial thought. I spoke to someone that said it generally takes more time for those spots to open.
