When should I ask for letters of rec. if I'm going to take a year off of undergrad before applying? Would it be too early if I asked Spring 2017? If I'm applying in Summer 2018? I only say that because I would be graduated (obviously) and it might be hard to get into contact with professors, etc.

Thanks!

I graduated in 2015 and applied this cycle to enroll 2017, and I asked professors starting in the Fall semester of my senior year for most of mine all the way through the spring semester. However, I kept in touch with one prof because I wanted him to have information about what I'd been doing in my off year so I had him write me a letter closer to the June 2016 opening of this cycle. Lmk if you have any other questions!
