So Now What?

I applied to NIH, SMEP and HCOP....I really would be delighted to have any of these but have my high hopes on HCOP since I was waitlisted last year,,,,any ideas what I can do to improve my chances?

Also, is it a good thing when the director asks me to put a postit on my app. saying i was waitlisted last year and that this is my last year to apply??? thanks!

i was going to say to call the director and tell him/her how much you want to be in the program and how important it will be for your life. i suggest calling for all of them, even the hcop dirctor who already knows you.

hmmm for SMEP it is seperate colleges though, do I just call the main director?

the main director or the chair of the committee that decides. you can ask who the chair is. call whoever is part of the decision process.
