I want to send an update to a few schools that I haven't heard anything from since being told I was complete (over 2 months). I was thinking of sending them an update on what I have been doing, and have a few good things to mention (publication ready being the most notable).
I figure it should be a fairly personal letter, but wasn't sure what to call it. It really isn't a letter of intent, since I'm sending it to multiple schools and I'm not planning on making a solid commitment to any of them at this point. Also, should I send it to the dean and also, is there any reason to send it by standard mail over email?
