I'm perfectly capable of getting a 33, usually (as i have been for the last weeks to month): 10 VR, 11 BS, 12 PS. This week i did aamc 5, and re-did AAMC 6, and got ~35 (5: 11 BS 14 PS, did not score VR - bubble error; 6, re-do from i think a few weeks ago after analysis: 13 BS, 14 PS, 10 VR.
that 13 is probably high because i had previously analyzed the test, but it would still be 11/12
I can usually just about finish VR. Usually barely finish to 10 mins to check PS, and usually 3-20 mins to check bio.
occasionally, like today in when I do aamc 4R for the first time, I'm just real real slow. I did it a normal test times (7:30 am to 3 pm), and was not particularly tired or starved.
Then only thing i fully finished, right on time was one of the WS.
I barely got the the last paragraph in the other, I had about 6 qs left in PS, 4 in BS, and 12 in VR undone. i assumed days i was otherwise slow was b/c it was a difficult test, but this is a normal test, i do fine in the other AAMCs. I scored 4r and i got 8 V, 10 BS, 11 PS.... (29 total) which is about my scores when my first practice test... ever.
anything that could be making my brain slower today... or what...
I have one day left, and this is a great knocker out all the confidence and prep I acquired the entire several months.
the only difference i can see is that I did 5r this week starting at noon, after some other mcat work, and 6r repeat I started at 9 pm, after having waken up at 4 am that day (thus, i was studying before the test, relaxed and watched TV, chilled and studied lighlty from 5 am to 9 am, then did the test). today, i woke up at 6, showered/ate, cleaned the desk and started the test.
I plan to have an hour before the test to practice PS.
anyway (besides ranting) the purpose of this thread is... suggestion of speed. It's best for me (in those science test which were pulling in 14s.. once), to answer question, check for stupid mistake, move on. maybe I should zoom thru on the real test? but then, my 14 will probably drop to a 12, because that was my typical score before stategy was developed.
Do you think i should try to squeeze in another test tonight? (not a full one, need to keep body clock at this weird early schedule). I think it'll do something for confidence if i don't leave the last good test till the day before.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not start the flames that those are great scores, so i'm some sort of creep for posting. Because, i know some of you like to do it, so I already did it for you.
(sorry for length)
