Somebody compare Temple, NOVA Southeastern and Case Western, esp social life and atmosphere, my top three choices.

I am kind of fantasizing about NOVA Southeastern, but am a bit wary of committing to it.

Temple seems the best on the eastern seaboard. NYC- can't afford to live there. Philly is cheaper and closer to NYC than Boston.

I like Case because Cleveland seems like nice place to live. Maybe too many Drew Carey episodes, but since the undergrad campus is so dead, it makes me wonder about the social life.

I was truly impressed with Temple following my interview. The only negative is the location. The cost of living is extremely affordable considering it is in a large city. If you don't mind commuting a couple of minutes to school daily Temple is an excellent school. Temple is known to put out great dentists. One thing that I noticed when I visited Temple was that all of the students were happy, this wasn't true at other schools I have visited. I think you will receive an excellent education at an affordable price at Temple. (in comparison to other private schools). Anyone who tells you that Temple doesn't graduate some of the most clinically experience dentists is incorrece.

If you are interested in specializing Temple places extremely well into speciality programs. If I were you I would contact some of the current students at each of these schools. Mark Lombard at Temple gave out a sheet with current students e-mail addresses.

Temple is great, hands down. There are tons of things to do in the city and Fairmount Park is huge and offers every possible activity...and the beach is just over an hour away. Classes keep me busy and i have already done amalgams, composities, wax ups and acrylic crowns in my first semester. You won't get that anywhere else I am pretty sure of that. Nothing wrong with the location either, tons of patients and very secure and well lit at night. Students are all helpful and cost of living is very moderate for a city this large. Come to Philly, Cleveland is more rough then here. Good luck
