Hey guys, I helped last year editing/reviewing people's personal statements, and I'm back here to do it again!
This summer I'll be starting my first quarter as a 2nd year dental student, so I've gotten some more dental school experience under my belt as well as closer relationships with some faculty members.
PM me your personal statements if you want me to review them. I do have final's approaching as well as a summer externship program, but I will try to get them back to you in the most timely manner as possible.
Here are some comments people have made in regards to my feedback:
'Hey everyone!! I would strongly encourage anyone to take advantage of Yihaej12's help regarding personal statements. I sent him/her my PS and in less than a week, he/she had it reviewed and slightly edited as well. Yihaej12 also gave me lots of detailed feedback on what I could write to end my PS with a stronger conclusion. My professors have told me that it is literally night and day!!! I am now confident that the ADCOMS won't fall asleep while reading my PS. I am forever grateful. PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND SEND YOUR PS HIS/HER WAY!!!!!"
"I agree completely. Yihaej12 was so helpful in critiquing my personal statement - she didn't just write a short "it looks good," but really gave detailed, thoughtful feedback. She's also still accepting personal statements so I highly recommend sending them her way!! Thanks so much, @yihaej12 !"
"@yihaej12 was very helpful in critiquing my personal statement and even gave me a great addition to throw into my PS. I'd definitely recommend hitting her up if you need assistance. There aren't many people that would offer to do this, especially those who are already accepted so take advantage now for those of you who know you NEED a good PS. Thanks again @yihaej12!"
"@yihaej12 did an awesome job helping me know where I need to make improvements with my personal statement. If you need help I definitely recommend letting her give it a look because it can't do anything but help!"
"I agree with those post above. @yihaej12 was very helpful in how she felt I could improve my personal statement to best showcase my strengths. She even offered to revise my second draft by her own goodwill! It's always reassuring when there are other pre-dents, and even soon to be dental students in her case that will go out of her way to help others succeed in becoming successful applicants. The future of dentistry is bright and @yihaej12 is a shining example. She is doing this all free of charge as well which is very commendable. send your personal statements her way!"
