I guess the moral of the story is you have to bend to other people's will. Or maybe, it's that all of these people out here are just vying for a chance to bend over and get it from some supposed badas#es like Jot, mightymouseal, or that 12 year old kid going to med school.
NOTE: Just because these guys are going to better schools than you are doesn't make it ok sac ride them so hard.

Well it's a big joke most likely, but it is at a lot of people's expense. And no, it is not permanently marring UT's reputation or anything, but oftentimes you have to put the misdeed in a greater context for people to realize that they need to stop. This isnt just about them, but several people. I am just assuming that these 2 jokesters think this all involves just them, it does not. That is why I put this in a larger context in the hopes that they realize WTF they are doing.

So yeah, it does make perfect sense to say this when the reason people are acting stupidly because they don't consider all the people they are actually affecting (they might not be affecting them much, but they are affecting them)

Im just hoping they read this and realize that they might think its funny that they are making jerks of themselves and insulting others, but that it reflects poorly on many more people.

For example, take Cerberus' post on the "vent thread" where he says that "your school is overrated." It obviously DOES reflect poorly on everyone. I dont goto UT, but I have many friends who do, and this kinda behavior leaves no one happy.

Either way, my main point is that these two need to get their act together, because they have insulted a bunch of very good SDN members that don't deserve to put up with their crap.

My only concern will all this is that these two be made to shut up. A lot of people take what is said here very seriously, as they should-- being a premed is a fairly serious deal. They dont need to be insulted and treated like crap.

But I think we all agree on this anyway, and hopefully some action will be taken to resolve this.

Seems to me it has been resolved. Neither Longhorn nor mightmouseal have anything but their word to back them up. And moderators have nothing to act on, because they can't really prove anything. It doesn't seem right to ban longhorn, just in case the story is true. What action do you want?
