    It looks like many schools are done/almost done sending out interview invitations. Schools that are not done probably only have a handful number of invitations to send out. I feel like, at this point of the cycle, schools invite only applicants who are proactive and have shown great interest.

    I have not send out any update letters and now I feel like no update letter= forfeit my chance of interview invites. Is anyone feeling the same way?

      I don't know, I sent out 7 update letters mid-Jan in which I discussed my specific interest in each school. The result so far: rejections from 2 of the schools, and nothing from the other 5. So even update letters don't seem to do much, at least for me. But it's worth a shot if you haven't done it yet.
