Hey guys, I took a course offered by our honors college named "Molecular Basis for Human Disease". It dealt with a lot of biochemistry of metabolism and genetics of human diseases and was supposed to be the equivalent of the M1 course at our medical school. On my transcript it is listed as under the Honors department, but I wanted to clarify what classification I would put this under. Biology? Chemistry? Other?

Since courses are supposed to be classified by content (instead of what department they're offered in), and this one was interdisciplinary, I think you could probably classify it as either biology or chemistry. However, if I were you, I'd check with a pre-health advisor and/or the professor(s) who taught the course. They'll probably know how other students have classified the course (and/or similar ones).
