Hi , I'd like to ask if it's possible for a foreign dentist to specialize in the US (and then return home to practice ).
The only program I found at UCLA was "preceptorship" what is that exactly ?
Thanks !

Also check NYU..they might have something for dentists who want to return to home country

OK , but I can't understand the difference between ADVANCED PROGRAM and PRECEPTORSHIP .
Is preceptorship more practical than adv program ?
Do you get a certificate of specialization with an advanced program?
Which is best ?

Advanced DDS ends with the candidate earning DDS to practice in the US. Preceptorship- you would assist NOT render direct patient care.
