so if i took the MCAT in september 07 what is the last cycle I can apply for? I find this very confusing. Is it all schools specific. Looking more towards applying in the summer of 2010, which would still be valid, however by the time I matriculate it would be expired (2011). any help would be nice. lets hope i get in this cycle and do not have to apply again, which is bad enough BUT TO ALSO take the MCAT again would take a piece of my heart away.

Most, but certainly not all, medical schools require that your MCAT scores be no older than three calendar years from the application cycle during which you're applying.

That is, if you're applying during this coming 2009 application cycle, MCATs from 2006 would be valid for most schools.

Most schools will be clear in their requirements, but it never hurts to call and ask.
