the relevant info from the passage is that "IN catalyzes cleavage of a GT dinucleotides from each 3PRIME vDNA terminus". Here's AAMC's explanation
I got the answer right but I'm wondering about the relevancy of the cleavage being on the 3' end. My impression was that all nucleotides were held together by P-O bonds. Would the answer still be the same if the passage had said the enzyme cleaved the dinucleotides from the 5PRIME end? Thanks!!
