Sponges... Kaplan Purple Book and Cliffs say different things

    In the Kaplan Purple book on page 170 it says sponges have 2 layers of cells, but in Cliffs Biology (in the organized grid of animal types) it says 1 layer. So which is it, 1 or 2?

    Should be 1 germ layer with choanocyte cells filtering water. Also it is prob good to know that cnidarians are diploblastic and all the others are triploblastic organisms...
