Now that most people are probably wrapping up the interview, accepting fellowship positions, anyone care to comment on their interview experiences and impressions of the varied sports and spine programs or just plain sports fellowships.
Things that would be helpful if you can answer are the following. If anyone has any other information that may be useful to contribute, please do so.
1. pt exposure- private/va/university?
2. percieved quality of these experiences - either first hand, impressions or secondhand info?
3. relating to the spine programs: what procedures are people doing- and how much experience are people getting doing these? (time wise- is it just here and there or are there dedicated clinics that fellows participate in)
Are these good experiences or token observation saying its part of the program?
4. call/ size of program/ flexibility (electives)?
5. is there dedicated msk/neuro radiology experience?
thanks---
