Medical Spouse leaving medicine - will this look bad for me during applications?

My spouse is leaving medicine once finished with his training. I am about to begin applying to medical schools, including where he went to medical school and where he is a trainee.

Will this look bad or be held against me? The adcom knows him well.

You will almost certainly be judged independently from your spouse.

It may color you negatively at your school if he was a particularly poor resident whom everyone hated, but in most cases, your spouse will not have a negative effect on your application. He should have no effect on your application at places where he did not train.
