So i took Bio I and Chem I at my community college ( i am now transferring to a 4 year since i am graduating)

I received a B+ in Bio and C+ in Chem I

How bad is this for MD schools?

These are the only pre-reqs I've taken so far.

There are many things that factor into my Chem I grade but i'm working hard this summer to get a head start on Chem II, which i am taking Fall 2012.

Do you guys think i still have a shot at MD if i do a lot better in my upcoming pre reqs?

thanks for your help

Yes, you absolutely still have a great chance at an MD school. You still have a lot of pre-reqs to go, plus you can take some upper level science classes if you still need to raise your science GPA. Search the forum and you'll find plenty of people who were accepted to med school with a few C's. Maybe reevaluate how you study and don't be afraid to get some help/tutoring if you think you need it.

Ismet, Docbert, thank you so much for your reply. I actually feel a lot better. And i will def get a tutor!
