Background/ Qualifications Required:
  • B.S. in Pharmacy or Doctorate of Pharmacy from an accredited school
  • Pennsylvania licensed pharmacist in good standing
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Team-based approach to training provides tremendous opportunity for the experienced retailer to transition into hospital practice with little or no previous hospital experience.

Responsibilities: Staff Pharmacist will report to Pharmacy Supervisor

  • The Staff Pharmacist will provide accurate drug screening, information, processing and dispensing services for safe distribution and drug administration.
  • Counsel patients on medication usage by addressing drug related questions; and consultations regarding lifestyle modifications and preventative care.
  • Combined Staff and Clinical responsibility
  • Oversees the activities of the pharmacy technicians, coordinating workflow and checking all medications prepared for patients.
  • Assisting with training and supervision to ensure pharmacy team achieves unsurpassed patient satisfaction.
  • Training team members, maximize overall team performance, and overseeing your support team.
  • Responds to customer concerns using problem solving skills, tact and discretion. Preserves patient confidentiality.
