For those of you currently stressing out about the admissions process, please refer to this dandy scoring system, tentatively called the SDB score, to assess your chances of admission. Hopefully this system will simplify the admission process for you, and cut down on the number of ******ed WAMC posts.


If your GPA is > 3.9 give yourself 2 points.
If your GPA is 3.6-3.8 give yourself 1 point.

If your MCAT is >35 give yourself 2 points
If your MCAT is >30 give yourself 1 point.


Now add your points.

If you have 4 points seek out a psychiatrist to address your need to utilize the internet to talk about how great you are.

If you have 2 or 3 points take a deep breath, relax, apply and you will get in somewhere and seek out a psychiatrist to address your need to utilize the internet to bolster your self-esteem.

If you have no points apply DO and/or keep trying until you get points.

Now, see how simple the admissions process really is?

This is probably due to the fact that you cannot read and follow simple instructions. See, when you are at the 2 point level you must seek out a psychiatrist to address whatever internal inadequacy is driving you to spend Thanksgiving day on the the internet instead of eating copious amounts of food and/or watching football and having a life. Until you resolve this internal crisis the admissions committees with sense that you are not ready to become a physician and deny your application.
